A huge thumbs-down for Nicolas Sarkozy's condescending "Africa is still 'outside history'" speech - about African people, uttered to their faces but as though they really weren't there, at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Senegal. Un discours absolument chocquant. Some of us didn't know it was possible for some Europeans to still have it in themselves to deliver comments like these!
